2010/11 Collections

As London fashion week gets underway, we take a look at the new ranges from the top skiwear manufacturers both technical and steezy....

Armada - Tanner Hall & JP Auclair's company have a new interactive feature on thier website which allows you to build a look from its new 2010/11 range.

First Drop Outerwear - The fledgling clothing company that in thier own words ''was conceived after years of personal discontent in the ski industry'', continue to hit high notes with your local park rats and jibbers with yet another super colourful and equally versitile collection. With popular skiers Liam Downey and the super laid back LJ Strenio on the team, then FD is set to become a sure fire hit again this season, and has also gone down the ever present interactive route to enable user ease.

First Drop's 2010/11 Winter Collection

Probably one of the biggest stories of this month in the Ski community is the signing of Tom Wallisch, Nick Martini and Mike Riddle to The North Face team. Tom Wallisch only signed a full deal with Scott in the early part of the year, but with Dew Tour and euro X-Games wins under his belt along with his total domination of park and urban has attracted the attention of the largest mountainwear company. Nick Martini who is one of the most talented youngsters on the scene right now (see Poor Boys Productions - Everyday Is A Saturday) and the super stylish pipe skier Mike Riddle, expect BIG things from The North Face for this coming Winter collection. I will post the collection when it comes available.

Saga - Another company which teeters more towards baggy parkwear. Saga with pro riders such as Tim Durtschi, Ian 'Chug' Cosco and Collin Collins are a firm favourite with jibbers everywhere. With thier 2010/11 collection echoing the thoughts of the other park specific clothing companies with thier uber baggy colourful jackets and pants, should stand them in good stead to be seen on kickers and rails all over the US and Europe this coming season.
